Evolve Skateboard GTR Bamboo 2 in 1

Evolve are known for their quality and it is extremely safe to offer them with us Boardlife. GTR Bamboo is an updated version of the bamboo series boards. They are available in an All Terrain and a road version which you can see here. The new GTR model has an extra strong battery that guarantees longer rides and high speeds. The GTR version can thus be converted into off-road, which then becomes All Terrain. To convert the board, a kit containing Allterrain wheels and a larger drive shaft is required. So it’s the same board but different wheels coming through.

The GTR Bamboo can then be ridden with the larger off-road wheels or you can simply switch to the smaller road wheels. Depending on whether you choose to ride road wheels or all terrain, the range and top speed are slightly different. The bigger wheels make you passable in all possible places and the range is 30km despite the wide wheels! With a maximum speed of 36km/h. If you switch to smaller wheels, you can reach up to 50km and a top speed of 42km/h.

The road version is ideal for you who want to go a little further and who have good conditions to transport yourself. That is, paved roads where straight wheels thrive very well. All Terrain, on the other hand, is made for tough terrain, those who want to take the shortcut through the forest. For those of you who may live in places where there are dirt roads or the like, this is about as easily fixable as possible. You can also slide it over grass and trails if you like. This monster lets nothing stop the path you want to take! But for those of you who have good roads nearby, the Street version will get you further and faster where you’re going because the gear ratio is different.

Here’s a kit for you who feel equally enthusiastic about both options. Get more out of your Evolve by being able to choose how to adapt it for the street or the terrain. In this package you receive directly with the conversion kit you need to rebuild your board if you don’t want to wait but buy it now. The only thing you have to choose is which kit you want pre-assembled.

The Ride

The GTR deck is constructed from bamboo with added fiberglass that puts you in the Goldilocks zone for flexibility and strength. Adjust the drop through truck position to bring them together or away to dial in your ride and enjoy the low-profile feel, just the way you like it. Whether you like carving short and sharp or long and deep, our bamboo deck has a classic longboard feel and will give you a softer feel underfoot. But don’t be fooled, together with our road wheels this board is like a cheetah on the loose. The Evolve Bamboo GTR offers even more flexibility for the enthusiast rider than ever before with 2 USB power ports and a new airline-swapable battery option for those who want to take their Evolve boards with them when traveling. You can also now track and share your rides and compete against the worldwide community on the new  Explore with Evolve app, along with over-the-air updates for IOS and Android phones. Unlike other boards on the market, the Bamboo GTR Street is compatible with our All Terrain Kit which completely changes the feeling of opening up a world of new courses to explore.

The remote

Evolve Bamboo GTR street offers more riding modes than ever before, allowing riders of all levels to safely enjoy the product and have the ability to adjust the riding mode while riding to suit conditions and maximize efficiency. Use the “ECO” mode for easy control and a safe top speed, perfect for beginners and those wanting a relaxed ride with longer ride times. Use “PRO” mode to whiz past the traffic and turn your commute into your hour of daily adrenaline rush, and if you dare, switch to GTR mode to unleash insane power and acceleration with the ability to climb hills with gradients up to 25%. For those who want a different power curve from ECO / PRO / GTR modes, select the CUST (custom) mode on the remote, then open the Explore by Evolve app and select the power curve to suit your driving style. In this mode you can adjust the power to be weaker or even stronger than the stock speed mode settings that come with the R2 remote.
